ABOUT
Kami Westhoff is a writer, poet, and instructor of creative writing at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. She received an MFA in Fiction from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University. She is the author of the short story collection, The Criteria, and three poetry chapbooks including Cloudbound, Sleepwalker, winner of Minerva Rising's Dare to Be Contest, and Your Body a Bullet, co-written with Elizabeth Vignali.
Kami's prose and poetry and has been published in numerous journals including Booth, Carve, Hippocampus, Passages North, Redivider, Permafrost, Waxwing, and West Branch. She is currently working on a collection of flash essays.
Kami has taught at the Port Townsend Writers' Conference, The Chuckanut Writers' Conference, and for the Sue Boynton Poetry Workshops.
